Tuesday 1st November
The first event of Documentary Media Month 2016 is a Year 11 Options Fair for 205 students at Babington Community College.
‘Understanding Careers and Future Pathways’ – ‘Meet the Experts’.
I’m supporting this event as a *STEM Ambassador by becoming a ‘human library book’ on careers in Documentary Media (e.g. film, photography, audio and new media) and bringing a stand to promote Documentary Media Month.
*STEM=Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths
8.30am-10.55am Babington Community College

The Silent Disco UK company has been a huge supporter of the DocFilm Festival throughout the 7 times its been held. Once again they supplied the 40 headsets free of charge and their usage has made many of the sessions possible.

Doors open at 6pm – come along and find out how the Documentary Media Centre uses documentary film, photography, audio and new media to showcase real people, real places and real events.

Join in the discussion from 7.30pm with Shaun Dey (Reel Film Network) and (Million Climate Jobs Campaign) shares films of his work across the UK. Also find out about the work of the Radical Film Network.
FREE event.
