Future Learn offers a diverse selection of FREE online courses from top universities and specialist organisations from around the world. These are delivered one step at a time, and are accessible on mobile, tablet and desktop, so you can fit learning around your life.

Throughout the Documentary Media Month programme I will be hosting a series of FREE 1 hour ‘How To’ sessions for those wishing to learn more about MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) and highlighting a course/s starting that week.

‘Introduction to the UK Parliament: People, Processes and Public Participation’

This course will introduce you to the work and role of the UK Parliament. From setting the age at which we start school to deciding pension policy, the UK Parliament makes laws that impact our lives, our work and our wider society.

The course will begin on November 14th to coincide with UK Parliament Week, a programme of events and activities that connects people across the UK with Parliament and democracy.

Duration: 2 weeks / Online study time: 2 hours per week
