Programme: Wednesday 1st November

The 2017 Documentary Media Month programme was officially launched at Wyggeston and Queen Elizabeth I College or as most of us know it….. WQE!

Over 40 WQE students visited the specially created pop-up version of the Documentary Media Centre to see ‘documentary media’ – film, photography, audio and new media exhibits that showcase real people, real places and real events from around the world.

Through support of the WQE Developing Young Professionals project, the Documentary Media Centre strives to ensure that students are given access to a wide range of opportunities to develop their employability skills for working in the media industry.

East Midlands Community Media Network

The aim of this project is to develop networking events, host regular podcasts discussions, list and share information about community media groups in the East Midlands, and promote ideas that support community development practices through community media.
