Details below for submitting content to the Doc Media Festival between 6th-10th November 2018:

Theme: global citizens….real people, real places, real events….

Documentary Film:

You Tube –  upload the film / share link via email.

Vimeo – upload the film / share link via email / we can stream the film via a password protected upload.

MP4 – send by We Transfer / Drop Box

DVD / Blu-ray disc – postal address: John Coster, De Montfort University, Faculty of Technology, Queens Building, The Gateway, Leicester LE1 9BH.

Documentary Photography:

Digital image/s – send by emailWe Transfer / Drop Box

Instagram – upload to your feed / share the link via email.

Flickr – upload to your feed / share the link via email.

Facebook Messenger – send a request to connect / share the images.

Documentary Audio

MP3 – send by We Transfer / Drop Box

Podcast – upload to your feed / share the link via email.

Documentary New Media

Deadline for ALL submissions is Sunday 7th October 2018

The event will include submissions from documentarians engaged with the research project:

0°-11° Parallel Lives – be a documentarian…..document your life!

Nicaragua – Ghana – Kenya – Sri Lanka – Cambodia

documenting life between The Equator 0° and 11° Parallel North.

The programme will consist of events and workshops covering 4 areas:

  • documentary film
  • documentary photography
  • documentary audio
  • documentary new media
